FINAAAALLYYYY!!! I've finish this!!:w00t: This took me so long to finish:o I was angry when I had to let this unfinish to go to London, but I finally make it!!:XD:

I know I probably wronged something in the arms position, but I'm still very proud of this:la:

Maybe I never mentioned this but Zèphir is left-handed so is for this he hold the bow with the right hand and not with the left one:dummy:

I change something from the previous outfit confront with this one: [link]

random facts: Zéphir bow had been made with the wood of a very rare tree: the Wind Tree (maybe I'll find a better name but for now is this:XD:). These trees has many whirly things coming out from their trunks and they had glowing symbols all over their cortex as you can see:dummy: This bow was owned by his father before him:)

the bg...was very difficult to do all that grass and leaves
for the grass I use some brushes I made up
for the leaves I use some :iconcharfade: brushes ->[link]
I also use some unfocused(I hope in english is that the correct word^^;) filter on the bg, I hope that works:XD:

I'll probably make an hair tutorial using this one as base:meow:

This is a nice piece of work that certainly shows that you have both talent in creating interesting characters with a style of colouring that is energetic and charming. THis piece certainly does show that you have a good eye in working with anatomy and creating something with a sense of motion and character than a basic 2d drawing. The posture has been approached very well and to have seen him full body rather than just a half feature might have been nice to see and really make him have more animation and for you to work more in the anatomy. The detail is simple, but nicely focussed in the simple two tone of shade and you have certainly found a method which allows for you to bring your character to life but not go beyond the appliance of detailing which would certainly ruin the clean/energetic look that you've presented here.

As a hobbyist archer, I think his pose is rather weak XD The string must not be very tight! lol
he's even got the face that says "Are you serious? Really?"

By the way, unfocused isn't exactly the right term, but it is okay for what you are trying to say.

the light reminds me of the lighting effects in the film famous for its light effects, newly broken from disney Don Bluth / goldman / pomeroy's The Secret of NIMH. It's on hulu for free if you want to get any ideas - [link]

If you feel déjà voice at any time, Jeremy is captain whatsisname from cannonball run and dr ages is the guy who was the son of the owner of the dawes tomes mosely-grubbs fidelity feducialy bank in mary poppins.

thanks ^^ and it's not disney is Don Bluth Productions. Not Sullivan bluth (which they did when NIMH happened to be released across ET.)
he was a disney backman, though, and it shows. he worships pinnocchio.
